In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
Why do you serve in the ministry you lead? What made you apply? What made you say “yes”?
My answer has been and will continue to be that God has called me to fight for women whether it is in a pregnancy resource center, in a safe shelter for abused women, in a coaching call supporting leaders, or in writing blogs to encourage leaders.
If that is what God has called me to do, then it also includes being truthful and honest in how I communicate to the vulnerable and scared. It means loving them in sin and loving them in redemption. It means doing everything in my powerto be transparent, factual, and candid.
When the world tells me to do everything possible to get a new client, my love for the client tells me to ensure I am honest in the marketing and verbiage I use.
So many of our clients have been lied to by the world, by people in their lives, and by society. In our Christian ministries, we must choose to show truth and light.
Stay on Vision!
